We were taught that there were three primary colors – Red, Green and Yellow which combine to form other colors or secondary colors. This theory holds good even in today’s highly technical Computer Age with only one correction, ‘Yellow’ is replaced by ‘Blue’ and all the colors that we see on our computer screen are nothing but a combination of these three colors – Red, Green and Blue or RGB as it is popularly known. You can get any shade of color from pure black to pure white changing the component values of these colors from 0 to 255. Pure white is R-255, G-255 and B-255 while pure black is R-0, G-0 and B-0.
